So much snow, so little time

                               Uh oh..Someone looks grumpy! D:

It hasn't really snowed much lately, but everytime I shovel the snow gets atleast a foot higher on our front yard. I just want to build a snow fort, but I want Jamie (my sister) to come around and help me out! Everytime she does come around though, she finds reasons not to. -Sigh..-

This week has been very uneventful. Although, I did sleepover at my freinds house and then go see a hockey game with her for her moms birthday. It was really fun, although I didn't think I'd like hockey.

This girl I slept over with, is a real devil. She can be fun, and it is always fun to be at her house, but she is the typical teenager. I know I'm a teenager, but if I ever talked back to Kate the way this girl (call her Mandy? From the Grim Reaper cartoon) talks back to her mom, I'd get a smack across the back of my head!

Well, probably not, but there would be a long lecture. Which is definately worse. :/

Seeing as there hasn't been much going around, I think I'll keep this one short.

How was your week? Tell me about!

The Emster is out of the building. ;D

It Was a Long Short Day

Calvin from Calvin and Hobbes. (He's a little pissed.)

Oh. My. God.

I don't even know why today was so long! It's a Monday, a perfect day at my school. Only one class with Mr. Scudworth, and school ends at 2:30, a short day. Should be an awesome day, right?

Wrong. And like I said before, I have no clue why. It just seemed to take forever, and the one class with Mr. Scudworth was taking forever! Gym was absolutely boring. We played basketball, and I hate basketball. I love badmanton, though, but I digress. It was a bad day all together.

One of my friends, (let's call her Deedee) was being a total bag. She kept one stupid secret from me all day, and all the rest of my group was agreeing with me that it's hurtful to tell everyone about it infront of me.

It wasn't that I was pissed that she didn't tell me. No, secrets are fine with me. But Deedee chose to tell everyone at our lunch table, interupting what I was saying.

I still feel angry at her, but she gave me -and the rest of the group- a sincere apology. She blames it on her time of the month.  Hmph. (Now I feel bad for starting off with calling her a bag. I mean, she's usually so nice, but today it was like someone turned her Bi*ch Button on, and forgot to switch it off.)

Well, now that I've gotten all of that off of my chest, and have finished my ranting, I'll talk about the only good part of the day.

Library! Lol.

We have this really boring (somewhat sadistic) library teacher. (Btw, who teaches library?) She reads these really horrible books, and our library is about 2/3's full of textbooks. Not very much selection for fictions lovers, like myself.

Anyways, she's reading this book, 'The Tuesday Cafe'. It's not bad, infact I kind of like it, but the way she reads it makes it sound like its so boring. The main character in it is a boy named Harper, and as she's reading it to us (she also skipped a chapter so we have no idea what's going on) she decides she doesn't like his name (or something) and she starts reading his name as Mitchell.

I don't know how it's possible to be reading the name Harper, and think it somehow says Mitchell. Maybe she really didn't like his name? I'll never know.

But I put up my hand, and said "Isn't his name Harper?" and she snaps at me that she is the one reading the book, and that she would know better than I.

But then Archie puts up his hand, as does Calvin, and so does Deedee. She does this weird snarling thing, and when she calls on Archie, he says he thinks it's Harper, too. She looks down at the page and her mean expression turns to one of surprise.

"Oh. So it is. My bad, sorry children." (Children? Seriously? We are not children, I mea- Ah, it's not worth it to rant. I'm just a ranter.)

So there is one more page left, and because she knows she made a mistake, she acts all nice as she gets to the end, and says "Do you want me to read another chapter, kids?" And we're all quiet, because none of us want her to read another chapter. But then Pinky speaks up, and very rudely (but hilariously) says "No!" and then we all join in a very quiet (somewhat frightened) chorus of no's. She blushed and puts the book away. (We win!)

But anyways. That's my day. How was yours? :)

-Emily out.

(OH! Btw, if the names in this blog seem a little funky, it's because I change them to protect the identity of others. But I change them to cartoon characters I think they're most like. Get it? Archie= Red head. Calvin= Kid-like blond boy. Pinky= Kind of dumb boy (from pinky and the brain) Deedee=Really loud/nice girl)

Sunday Mornings

Most people get up on Sunday, get a coffee, and sit down to read, or to check their Facebook, or maybe just have a moment of blissful silence.

I don't. One, I'm not allowed to drink coffee. Two, Sunday mornings are never blissful. There is always that feeling of dread in the pit of my stomach, because I know that at the end of the day, as I crawl into my warm a cozy bed, when I wake up there will be school.

School has been portrayed to me in many different angles:

A gathering place for friends, and learning.

A place where I can learn social skills.

A building, devoid of any love, or mercy, where I will spend the majority of my miserable life.

Okay, that last one is a little played up, but I've heard many high schoolers say such things. But as dull an boring as school may be, I've never actually experienced anything 'tortuous' or 'horrid' as many TV shows, and movies, and even parents say.

Even so, I can't help but feel bad for myself.

The only real thing that I could stand to lose would be Mr. Scudworth. (That's not his real name, but I don't want to imagine the horrors of what he might say if he ever found out I blogged about him!)

He's real creepy. My mom, (you might know her; becomingkate, a regular blogger, who is infact blogging right beside me) even thinks he's creepy. He watches me constantly, and brings up my moods. He asks me questions about death, and why I'm talking about it.

I talk very openly about death. My real mother died in March. I had been living with Kate, and my Dad at the time, so I never really feel like she's actually dead.

I tell him why I talk about it, yet he still brings it up, never asking me to stop talking about it, but always trying to dig into my personal life.

But let's not talk about him. Just thinking about all the crazy shit he does makes me want to punch a magician (he thinks he's a magician, so..).

Disregarding school all together now, I feel like writing about what's going down today.

Nothing much. Lol.  Although, Jamie (my step-sister) and I might go out sledding today. We got like 10 inches of snow (no joke!) and it's perfect snow for sledding! She doesn't work today, I, being the lazy teenager I am have no plans at all, so I guess I'm basically set for the whole day now.

I would normally get dressed by now (it's lunchtime) but my kitten is laying on my lap. She's even more crazy than good ole' Scudworth. She's about 8 weeks old, the runt of the litter, and has a major cold which we are currently treating. The cold doesn't seem to stop her from trying to kill my dog, or my feet.

She's quite hilarious, actually. She farts, (shamelessly, I might add) and sneezes, and attacks objects that aren't there. Then when you really feel like locking her up in the bathroom, she goes ahead, and falls asleep on your lap, all cute like.  (That's what the picture is of. She's a cutie, isn't she?)

I've sort of run out of things to blog about. I don't really ever have one subject to talk about. It's only my first blog, and it's already all over the place, so sorry, but that's how I am. XD. Whoops!

Anyways, hope you all have a good day! And have a very Happy New Year!
